Ahead of Bihar’s October 23, 2026, Legislative Council elections, several colleges have raised concerns over alleged irregularities in the Patna Teachers’ constituency electoral roll. Patna Science College reportedly identified five disputed voter entries and three eligible faculty members missing from the list, renewing questions about voter verification and the accuracy of the electoral roll.

The Bihar BJP has launched a 15-day statewide campaign titled “Save Democracy, End Mob Rule” from October 22 to November 5, 2026.
