INDIA bloc leaders, including RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, have intensified protests over the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and alleged irregularities. The demonstrations have triggered a political exchange, with opposition parties demanding electoral safeguards and BJP leaders questioning their protests.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the 72nd Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination, which was scheduled for October 25, 2026. The commission has not yet announced a revised date. Candidates are advised to monitor the official BPSC website for updates regarding the examination schedule, admit cards and other instructions.
